Scraped Memories — original acrylic painting by Eddie Davidov

Scraped Memories explores memory as a physical surface — something built layer upon layer, covered, damaged, revealed and transformed by time. Scraped acrylic exposes traces beneath the surface, like fragments of a place that once carried life and now survives only in pieces. Weathered textures, muted greens, rust-orange, gray and white create a tension between warmth and decay. The painting is not a depiction of a specific place, but an emotional reconstruction of what remains after years have passed. Each exposed layer becomes part of the story: what was once visible, what was hidden, and what still refuses to disappear.
